I’ve been rehearsing in Nashville today for The Hungry for Love Tour, featuring Sanctus Real, Leeland, The Afters, and Palmer Chinchen. It’s hard to be away, but this tour is going to be amazing. Listening to the other bands play lifted my spirits and made me excited for the shows we’ll be doing over the next two months.

I spoke with Sarah early this morning and she said that Bowen was doing well, but around 2pm I spoke with her again and she told me there was a problem. She said that Bowen’s blood sugar was down to twenty-four just after noon.  This is a very low, and potentially dangerous level. There’s a team of endocrinologists working to figure it out, but it makes it that much harder to be gone. I know you all have been praying with us continually, so please pray specifically for this issue to be resolved quickly.

A friend gave me a card a few days ago with the following Bible verse in it. It was a great encouragement to me. “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10

Also, check out this photo of Bowen with Tommy Schomaker, who recieved a heart transplant at U of M. For more on Tommy, go to http://www.carepages.com/carepages/ThomasEarl or just google him…he’s pretty famous around here :).
