Today, July 14th, was Sarah and I’s eleventh wedding anniversary, and we’ve never had more to be thankful for. This past Monday we received a good report from Bowen’s heart catheterization. The doctors at U of M told us that he’s a prime candidate for his Fontan procedure, which we hope will be the last of his open heart surgeries. Thank you for your prayers!

We also received good news on Thursday, when we took the kids to Sarah’s second ultrasound to see their unborn little brother move around in mommy’s tummy. As far as they can tell, we have a complete and healthy boy in there.

To see Bowen laughing with his sisters in the very same room where they first saw his broken heart, lifted ours with joy.

God has been so good to us.
